Our Story

My Care Business was built from practical experience inside the care sector — not from theory.
Over the years, we saw capable providers struggling not because they lacked commitment, but because they were juggling too many disconnected advisors. Compliance consultants here. Solicitors there. Architects elsewhere. Financial advisers in isolation.
The result was delay, duplication, and avoidable cost.
We created My Care Business to offer a more integrated model — one window, one strategic view, and coordinated support across regulatory, operational, and commercial aspects of care provision.
Our focus has always been clarity over confusion and structure over stress.

Our Experience

We have supported providers through:

  • New CQC registrations

  • Service expansions and additional locations

  • Enforcement and inspection challenges

  • Acquisition and operational due diligence

  • Governance redesign and quality improvement

  • Business planning and financial restructuring

Our experience spans small independent providers, large national groups, charities, and portfolio investors.
This breadth allows us to understand both frontline operational realities and board-level strategic risk.

We simplify complexity. Regulatory language, governance expectations, and commercial modelling are translated into practical, workable structures.

Clarity

We give direct advice — even when it is difficult. Protecting long-term stability matters more than short-term approval.

Integrity

Care businesses involve multiple stakeholders. We connect the moving parts so your project progresses without bottlenecks.

Coordination

We do not create dependency. We equip you with the knowledge and structure to lead confidently.

Capability Building

Compliance must align with viability. We balance inspection readiness with financial sustainability.

Commercial Awareness

Our Values

Our Mission

Our mission is to build stronger, safer, and more commercially resilient care organisations. We equip providers with regulatory clarity, governance structure, and strategic oversight so they can grow without exposing themselves to avoidable risk.

We prioritise sustainable foundations over rapid expansion, proactive structure over crisis response, and internal capability over dependency — ensuring care businesses are confident, compliant, and built to last.

Get In Touch >

Starting, growing, or restructuring a care business can feel overwhelming.
We identify the structural risks early — governance gaps, property misalignment, workforce fragility, commercial exposure — and address them before they become inspection or enforcement issues.

We Understand Pressure Points

Instead of managing multiple disconnected advisors, you gain coordinated guidance.
We liaise with architects, solicitors, financial advisers, builders, training providers, and commissioners to keep projects aligned and efficient.

One Window, Multi-Disciplinary Oversight

From startup to acquisition. From growth to exit. From enforcement response to stabilisation.
We have worked across the complete lifecycle of care organisations, which means our advice is grounded in real-world consequence.

Experience Across the Full Lifecycle

Many providers seek help when problems surface.
We prefer preventative structure — building governance and operational systems that reduce risk before inspection pressure or financial strain occurs.

Proactive, Not Reactive

Compliance without financial understanding creates fragility.
We ensure regulatory alignment works alongside workforce planning, sustainability modelling, and market positioning.

Grounded Compliance

When pressure rises — inspection, safeguarding concerns, acquisition deadlines — clarity matters.
We provide structured, calm guidance so decisions are strategic, not emotional.

Calm, Structured Advisory

Why Choose Us?

I had already agreed to purchase the care home and was comfortable with the price. Contracts were due to be exchanged within hours. As a final precaution, I engaged MyCareBusiness to conduct an operational due diligence review.

They identified regulatory and structural risks that had not been properly addressed and explained how these could affect valuation, compliance exposure, and future stability. The findings were clear, commercially grounded, and difficult to ignore.

Armed with that insight, I renegotiated immediately and secured a £20,000 reduction before signing. Their involvement more than paid for itself and likely prevented longer-term complications I had not anticipated.

— Acquisition Client

We were running a growing domiciliary care service, but cashflow friction was quietly destabilising us. Staff regularly requested pay advances, fuel shortages were affecting shifts, and our accounts team was constantly managing payroll tension.

We paid monthly and couldn’t sustainably move to weekly payroll. MyCareBusiness introduced a structured solution that allowed carers to access earned wages daily without impacting our payroll system or increasing operational costs.

The result was immediate stability. Advance requests stopped, missed shifts reduced, and morale improved — all without additional financial pressure on the business. It was a simple solution we had never considered.
